Question Logitech Bluetooth users:

I installed Vista with a wired kb/m, then got my MX5500/Revolution combo in the mail.

I installed Setpoint and then (I believe) the WIDCOMM/Lenovo bluetooth stack so I could use other BT devices like my Jabra BT2640 headset.

All was working fine until I had realized that an automatic update had taken place along with a restart, and now there was a Windows Bluetooth icon in my taskbar. Along with some mouse lag, there are problems pairing my headset now.

How do I undo EVERYTHING bluetooth and start over? The Setpoint/WIDCOMM setup was working fine to the best of my knowledge, and for being a fairly expensive setup, it's just not performing as well as I'd like it to right now.

I don't think you can uninstall the MS Bluetooth drivers. You should be able to go to programs and features and uninstall the WIDCOMM drivers. Then just install those again and it will automatically disable the MS drivers.

BT is certainly a mess though, so hopefully you'll be able to get it working right again.

Hmm... when I first installed the Logitech + the Widcomm stuff, there was no Windows® Bluetooth icon... it seemed to me that the MS stuff was not installed or something.

I'm gonna reinstall OS soon, so I'll get another go at this soon.

BT was a mess when I tried the last Logitech bt combo.

rage, return that keyboard and mouse, and get a normal wireless RF keyboard and mouse its much better, and if you need to use BT headset, just buy a cheap usb adapter. this way your headset will not cause issues with the keyboard and mouse.

The Logitech MX Revolution is a wireless laser mouse manufactured by Logitech and released in 2006. The MX Revolution is the first mouse to feature a free-spinning scroll wheel,[citation needed] which allows continuous scrolling for several seconds with a single user action. The Logitech VX Revolution is the equivalent product intended for laptop use.
