Default Installation Help needed (Batman: Arkham Asylum)

Hi, just looking for some help with my installation. The installation works up to a certain percentage and then I'm greeted with a pop-up proclaiming that installation has stopped because of an error and then this appears:

Feature: Default Feature
Component: DLS_RootDirBmGame_42
File: F:\Data4Cob
Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

Anyone have any idea what to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated, if not no worries.

As a few incidental points, I had no problems installing the demo of the game. Also I have about 74GB free on my hard drive so that's not the problem. However, my system memory is only working at 1022MB for some reason.

Thanks again

Alright, it could be one of a few things.

First, clean the disc. If there are deep scratches, then there's your problem.

Try it again, if it's the same thing, then it might be your DVD drive, try creating a folder and moving all the folders in the DVD to the folder, and installing from the folder.

I would test the DVD drive on another PC if possible, or if you have another drive, try that one, and see if it works.
