When they make a version of BFBC2 in 3D, then I will care.

I only have Red/Cyan goggles as don't have a 3D-capable monitor, but even then these games look great!

Some day I will have 3D Vision.... some day...

Well, I'm not really up on my LCD monitor tech right now. But I'm under the impression that response times for IPS panels are generally worse than those for TN panels, and you need a fast response time for refreshing the image for each eye on the screen in order to prevent ghosting and stereoscopic cross-talk. This is for the shuttering method for displaying 3D images of course.

But the TN panels I'm using for 3D Vision are fine for gaming. I'm not doing any professional graphics design or photography work on them, and the better viewing angles argument for IPS panels is moot in this case anyways because you have to look at the screens head on for the 3D effect to work.

Yeah, that's the way I saw things too, but I haven;t looked at displays in a few years either, have IPS or other non TN panels improved their response times considerably... if not then what the frak is the point of spending more $$ to getting better color rep. when you can't refresh fast enough...

I've always seen the non-TN displays to be great for art work, photography ...etc but not the best for gaming... maybe that's all changed now...

has 3d vision went down in price yet?

I have a hard time wanting to pay $250 for "3D glasses meant for LCD's" , when I litterally paid $29 for "3D glasses meant for CRT's" 7 years ago. They still work great, but again they only work for CRT, which I don't use anymore.

This is dirt old technology that they are way way way overcharging for.

Could one force a 240/200 or 120/100hz HDTV to work with 3D vision? I have a 200Hz 46" Sony Bravia Z series. Might try 3D in the future... not now, obviously
