Got the desk put together. Love it but I wish the computer would have fit on the little roller cart underneath the desk. I ended up putting extra paper on it. I stuck a file cabinet under the desk and there is room for another storage unit. I'll try and find something small with 2 drawers at walmart. Also will be getting a new Logitech thin illuminated keyboard tomorrow to replace the crappy Saitek. This is the second one I've had and both of them had the letters rub off the damn keys. I won't be buying a Saitek ever again.

Yea I never used them either and I'm not sure if I'll keep using this one. It's odd not having the mouse beside the keyboard. When I get the new keyboard tomorrow I'll try putting it on the desktop.

Oh and yea we have a ton of paper. My wife used to copy medical records where she worked before and they had all the employees keep all the supplies at their house. The company layed her off a while back and didn't want their supplies back. We ended up with all kinds of crap. They also had a huge copier at one of the hospitals and when they lost the contract for that hospital they just left the copier there and said whoever wanted it could have it because they didn't want to go to the trouble of moving it

My Room. 2 week old Dell p1110 on the left, got in new in box. That is my gamer/personal movie watcher. 2 year old Dell 2007wfp, writer/reader/group movie watcher. Microsoft comfort curve mouse+keyboard, both over two years old. 2007wfp acts as usb hub for all my usb inputs. Wired 360 controller for games on pc, at least four years old. Computer in sig. Had to cut out the back of the desk to run all of the wires through. Occasionally used speakers at super low volume hidden behind monitors with the power supply for them and sub/reciever hidden behind 360 desk. 360 is 45nm arcade Version with 20gig hardisk. Older Dell p1110, brought new in 07 (in box too), seen roughly two years of use. Painted black for fun lol.

The "desk" is actually my drawer, and the "top" is part of an old broken bench. This whole set up actually took me a little while to work out, as in the past I would just have wires all over the place. Now I ve made an effort to duct tape whatever I could and try to wire intelligently. I doesn't look like enough room to use the keyboard and mouse well, but I've typed at least three term papers at this desk and gamed for hundreds of hours this way. It isn't pretty but it works.
