I still think a medieval battlefield game would be badass

"Real" Battlefield games were terrible. Guns do not shoot where you aim.

Thats true but for its time BF2 was exceptional. Hit reg was so bad because of how much stuff was going on in the huge maps...cars, tanks, choppers and planes and servers that held upto 64 players... bfbc2 doesn't come close to the ground breaking game bf2 was back then but still bfbc2 is awesome in its own right.

I really hope EA/DICE go all out on the PC version of BF3...i dont think i can take another cut down game so it will run on consoles too.

I have 1943 for PS3 and the air superiority mode is pretty fun with all the planes. I'll probably get it for pc just for that alone. The rest of it is kind of meh, but might be better on pc since fps on console is trash.

Man if BF:BC2 kills my CPU, I will definitely need to upgrade before BF3. That thing will eat CPU's alive.

... Or Tri at the least. My x3 runs the Frostbite engine as efficiently as my x6 TBH.

Yea I upgraded to a Q8300 for BC2 and it helped but not quite enough. Still trying to push it to 3.0Ghz but this mobo sucks. Since they stated Frostbite 2 PC will have huge support for DX11, heres hoping it implements the gpu much more than relying on the cpu as the current iteration does.

I have BF1943 on 360. Should be fun on PC. And I think they will add more maps. That will justify charging more than $15, which is what it costs on XBL Arcade.
