Stay tuned for an NV News review of a GF104 part as well.
It'll probably be published late morning/early afternoon.

Tomshardware gave it a favorable review. The temps are also very impressive on this card. Performance is kind of all over the place, sometimes it doesn't measure up to the 465 other times it's better. But it should overclock better than a 465. It has a lot of pros over the HD 5830 that's for sure. I'm glad this a move in the right direction for the fermi architecture. |

I am very interested to see Tri-SLI with these cards.
SLI seems to scale very well with them. Id love to put some in my other box.

I think there is no option (from what I have read in reviews) for Tri SLI, only SLI

help me understand this. This card has better clocks, better temps and smaller size than the gtx 470. I am sure the clocks can offset the 256 RAM difference, cant it? So does it render the 470 obsolete now?

I'll be interested to see if they can scale this tech up for the next refresh and give us a single GPU GF104-based high end card like a GTX 485. I'm hoping for something better than what NVIDIA did with G92, which was going from a slightly crippled 112-core 8800 GT to a full fledged 128-core 9800 GTX.

It does not match up in the pure processing department. The 470 has 442 SP's while the 460 still just has 336. You would be comparing it against the 465 instead, which has 352 SP's but lower clocks. The 470 is still firmly a more powerful card.
