Hi all,
I noticed that the Quadro NVS (Notebook series) is no longer among the supported products on http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-d...53-driver.html . Earlier it has been supported, e.g. http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...100.14.09.html . Is it really not supported by the recent Linux driver? After OS upgrade (to Fedora 13) I got the nouveau driver installed as default. I suspect the nouveau driver to cause heat problems, and on top of that, some of my X applications doesn't run as "smooth" as I experienced with the NVIDIA driver before the upgrade. I actually tried to install the NVIDIA driver (through RPMfusion), but did not succeed - so now I'm curious whether the driver is supported or not. EDIT: Just to emphasize: it is the Quadro NVS 140M graphics card. Some Q.NVS cards are mentioned, but none of them are (what I beleive to be) the notebook series. Best regards, Kenneth |
