got a single psu that will power 4 way sli gtx 480

the silverstone strider 1500 watt. I thought it was a waste of a psu because it has 4 pci-e leads with a 6 and a 8pin on each. And I thought the rule of thumb is to only use on pinout per lead. But there have been instances on the web where someone has used the strider with 4 way sli and had enough power left over (300 watts) to power the rest of the pc. Italy2010, I know you were looking for something like this, well here it is.

Sheesh. I wonder how long until we need a design change in electrical currents in homes. The current basic sockets can only accept 1600W right?

at 80% effeciency that's pulling 1875w......

120 volts x 15amps = 1800W

If you use 12awg you should be able to use a 20A recepticle providing 2400W.
