Default Is it possible to use 2.6.34 kernel features to handle Optimus enabled laptops

Is it possible to use 2.6.34 kernel features (Device Drivers -> Graphics support -> Laptop Hybrid Grapics - GPU switching support (VGA_SWITCHEROO)) to handle Optimus enabled laptops? To switch IGP off, nVidia GPU on, and then use it with latest binary drivers? I found this site http://asusm51ta-with-linux.blogspot.com/, which use this new kernel fetures to handle notebook with ATI stuff. Does anybody have experience using switcheroo to handle nVidia GPU on Optimus laptops?
