Software That Gets Too Many UPdates

The software that i think gets too many updates or is updated quite too often is that damn itunes which is not even an av or spyware wuite which needs daily uipdates but everytime i go to the web i get a itunes or apple update.

Are they just doing the right thing and ofering updates or do they need to fix **** they break?

itunes updates about once every 2 months or so, steam updates once every 2 weeks or so, source engine updates once every 2 days or so

nah, just quit itunes.
It takes 80MB+ and about 3xthat in memory to read an mp3 in a worse way winamp2 did 10 years ago using 3MB of memory and a 500kB executable.

I really dislike that bloat...

It's a necessary evil if you have an iPod.

Exactly why I will never get an Ipod. I did have one once that I won at a convention but I gave it away after having to have Itunes just to put some damn music on it. What a pain in the methempikehoses.

Actually, there are better alternative for free.
Some that let you get music OFF the ipod too...

But what do I know... I don't have an ipod...

Exactly why I bought a Zune HD as my last player. Itunes on windows is horrible, I wouldn't care if its the greatest thing ever on a mac.

The zune software is really nice as well.

Working in the repair industry..... I despise iTunes. That program is worthless on windows.
