Heh... so apparently saying something on the blog about it isn't important...

Yea that happened a little while ago. The forums were moved over to curse.com You might already have that username for another curse game, so you'll just need to figure out what your password was.

I got it fixed. I installed MCEdit (which is amazing btw) and basically did a repair world or some option that's in the main menu and it fixed it.

No problems here yet with 1.8.1. Actually the only problem is finding the time to play!

Going to upgrade my server at some point today during lunch.

stumbled across not one but 2 ghost towns!

both of them shown in MCedit

Have some endermen!

Using the "Bordercraft" texture pack. I LOVE it. Really fits the game well and they're all well done and the art style is coherent in all the item/block/enemy textures. Here's a quick shot of those textures and my mob farming trap

Nice screens!

Everytime I use any texture pack, it makes the game unstable. It crashes a lot.

From Twitter, Notch said that a 1.9 pre-release is expect to come out today or tomorrow. I'll update when it's available.

Did they ever get rid of all those stupid squares? No?

So...the future of gaming isn't in polygons, but in big ass squares. Well, there goes nVidia and ATI.

Do you know what version of Java you're running? It runs much faster on Windows 7 when using Java 7.

7.
