I changed to 11 and it still crashes.

Yeah, mine always crashes when I choose DX10 or DX11 on my GeForce 480's. You have to use DX9 until they fix the problem. But this bug has been around since the multiplayer beta so they may never fix it. Who knows.

Well, that's cool. I thought I was screwed with dx9 until they fixed it. So I can get some dx11 love if I disable SLI? Will try that tomorrow.

SP looks ugly..... Airborne was much better.

I love how when i zoom in on the tanks to bomb them and when they explode some of them fly straight up into the air and then decide to explode.

IMO so far its a big step back.....the SP anyway.....haven't tried MP.

Somwhere i read you can remove the FPS cap in the config settings so i tried it and it works.

Maybe i should wait a week before buying a game next time......see what all the people say first.

Woot. The first MP patch is out for PC.

http://www.medalofhonor.com/blog/201...tiplayer-patch

Quote:
A PC patch for Medal of Honor's multiplayer is coming today at around 1:30 PST. Check out the fix list below:

- Fixed a potential crash when using DirectX9 and switching kits/weapons
- When connecting with a non-PunkBuster client to a PunkBuster server, the game would get stuck in “Joining Game…” This has been fixed
- Server browser would sometimes remain blank for 60+ seconds after a full refresh. It should now begin displaying results immediately, under any circumstances
- Server browser supports multiple game servers running on the same host IP
- Server browser bugfixes for “Quick Refresh” operation
- Server browser is less prone to shuffling the order of entries
- Ping reporting in the server browser is more accurate (in a few cases ping values would get assigned to the wrong server)
- Full refresh no longer tracks the first server that arrives in the list
- When trying to join a full server, an error message is now displayed informing the user that the server is full
- Imported anti-cheat functionality

The update is only for changes to the multiplayer component of Medal of Honor. No single-player changes have been included. In order to update the game, you will need to quit Medal of Honor and load the game again. At that point the auto updater will download the update and apply it for you.

Steam users will need to update via Steam in the usual way.
I think they will follow the BC2 update schedule (i.e. fix the bugs, then tweak the game to balance it). I expect to see some weapon tweaks soon. Rumor has it they will be increasing recoil as well.

I dunno then. I found a troubleshooting site that had Crashing after matches claiming to be caused by SLI and disabling one card fixes it. Do you have a dedicated PhysX GPU? Or a second GPU even if not running SLI?
