Now those screenshots look alot better than what the beginning looked like... do the graphics improve as the game goes? Do you get the white shimmers around stuff throughout or just in the first 2 missions?

I may have to go back and push through, those screenshots look great, but the first few missions dont look nearly that good. There is little to no AA, textures load, white shimmering, all the weaknesses of the UT3 engine are what I cant keep overlooking. Then there is the strange mouse acceleration and capped 60 fps (using 120Hz LCD) is just driving me mad.

No white shimmering in the later missions. I don't remember if I had it in the first 2-3 missions...

As I told you before, the mouse lag is fixable by tweaking the config file:

Go to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\medal of honor\Engine\Config\BaseEngine.cfg

And set:
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=59

Maybe you can try higher settings because you have a 120Hz display but 59 definitely fixed the mouse lag. Felt great/normal during the whole SP.
I think I'll try reinstalling the whole game, patch it up and try it again this weekend when I'm off. I wanted to love it, I really did.... but then again I'll be playing COD BO comes tuesday... hrmmm...

Well something was hosed. There was also a new update. AA works now in SP. Before it said it was running 1680 but looked more like 800x600 and no AA. Reinstalling it seems to have fixed it. I'll give it another go tonight.

EDIT: nah, got back to Afghanistan and its awful... no AA, textures look really bad especially the spots of grass... oh well COD will be here soon

Finished the SP, definitely more atmospheric than MW2 or CoD BO, even though it starts slowly. Graphically nothing groundbreaking, some parts even looked average, but they don't go overboard with the unlimited number of enemy soldiers, which I really hate.

Ya, haven't heard much of anything about it since BO, and BFBC2 still seems to dominate.

Yea I hopped on last night and there were about 10 servers and only 20 people playing. Is this game really that dead already? It just came out a month ago.
