You never played Dues Ex: Invisible War, I'm guessing

I still haven't played L4D2 because of the crappy censorship debacle over here, I just told myself to stop thinking about it.

The first one is still my main zombie fix. The melee weapons aren't there, it's got a darker overall atmosphere, the gameplay is different to a degree as well. If you enjoy either one I think it would be difficult to not enjoy the other imo. Plus many of the community made maps for it are fantastic.

It's a tough call as the game seems to be one of those love or hate, no in between.

I somehow wound up with that when it was first released, someone said I must have joined an Aussie server, so mine got censored as well - It was horrible. I wouldn't even bother with it if I had to be stuck with that.

been playing quite a bit this weekend, due to me planning a girl's afternoon/night out yesterday. once rae rae went to bed, i was playing till 230am. must say im getting the hang of it. i stick with the assault rifle and dual pistols.

the hardest change for me was playing objective based games with a set number of badguys, i would go slow, kill evertything, then move on. but this game isnt like that. get from A to B and survive. that's the key.

played very well last night was actually very potent. killed lots of them and survived much longer than the first time. i dont like Taaaaank mode though.

I kinda prefer l4d, after all it was the original. But relatively few play it and now No Mercy is in L4D2 I really don't see the point in going back.

They may add the other campaigns in the next few months anyway.

It's L4D1 + an HEM (Hard Expert Mode) mod.

well - i got a new hybrid HD for my mac and put osx on it, with a 50gb boot camp partition. Parallels lets me use the BC as a virtual machine while in OSX for work, but i can also reboot into BC for games/steam.

played lfd2 today in it and wow - osx needs some serious love. On higher settings for video, i got between 90 and 35 fps, depending on the action. in osx i would get 45 to 15. easily double - with higher settings.

amazing.
