Nice! I like the video. You would be a lot faster if you didn't go into the corners so hot with so much under steer. Sometimes slow is faster. Also, bouncing it off the rev limiter kills times too.

You're still ahead of me Cream..my best so far is 1:04.5, but that's still 4 seconds better than I was doing last weekend. Your time should be competitive provided you stay out of trouble. I have to believe that the guys that are running at 1:00.00 or faster will run off the course more. My lap times will probably get me rear ended alot, but I'll try to stay out of the way. If you join a race before I do, let us know how you do.

Only done one race, nightare. Jumped the start, Penalty, Speeding the pitlane, didn't slow down quick enought when coming in for my penelty, Penalty.. Wireless headphones packed in so could here jack, Ended up having to bail out the game Doh.

Just did some laps at LRP in the MX-5 with a best of 1:03.143...I'm getting closer. I watched some youtube vids of guys doing laps at :59.2. Watching where they shift and what gear they are using helped me some. Now I need more practice. One of the keys for me is getting through the horseshoe at the end of the straght away clean.

Just finished 8th in 11 car field....my first race

The only time I went off the track was to avoid hitting cars sitting sideways on the track. It seemed pretty easy to avoid wrecks seeing that I was just trying to finish the race vs. winning. My qualifying time was 1:02.6 which is very good for me. Still about 2 seconds off the leaders but still fast enough to go most of the race without getting lapped.

This sim is extremely fun and is the first online racing sim I would say is very close to real. I remember when I used to race online with Nascar Racing 2004, it was awful..cars would appear out of nowhere and slam into you. I don't think I ever finished a race in that game. iRacing on the other hand was very fun and I was able to see problems on the track ahead of me.

Great fun and thanks to slaWter for for inspiring me to join this sim.

I did a second race yesterday evening. Had it a little tougher in that one. Coming down the straght at LRP I noticed another car charging on me very fast, I moved left to give him room and I slid off the track and hit the barrier hard ( I hope he appreciated it ). I was in the pits for about 3 minutes getting repaired. I did however finish the race 3 laps down, but that's ok, I did finish. It's all good experience for me and that's how I look at it right now. That could change in the future as I get better and more competitive.

slaWter, after reading your post about Silverstone I went onto youtube to check that track out. I found a 23 min video some guy posted there and he was doing fairly well. He commented that he was getting out of the way for the leaders as they came through. He was in a group of about 4 cars and they were running pretty fast when all of a sudden I see slaWter come up behind them and passed them like they were on blocks in your LMP2....I lol'd

I had one zero incident race at Lanier last week...think I finished 9th, because most of the faster cars stayed on the track. The one race I finished 6th in was a smash fest. I lost some SR in that one. I don't think the incidents were my fault due to guys passing me and losing control and me tagging them with nowhere to go. At a track like Lanier I usually watch my mirror pretty close so I can stay high to make room for the more aggressive drivers. I am using the spotter and have the relative window up to help run as safe as I can.

All I've done so far at Okayama is test laps. This week I've been concentrating on my Legends car. Trying to get both oval and road promotion.

Holy crap!! I just ran 15 clean laps at Daytona full throttle 48.494 in my Impala...it is pretty scary after running laps in a Legends car lol. With the forces turned up it is difficult to hang on to the wheel at that speed. Totally Awsome experience.
