Anyone play it? I had pretty low expectations, but it's actually pretty good. Almost a completely different game than the last. Sure it's GoW 3 with lightsabers, but that's a good thing with this game. I really hope the PC demo is just as good as the PS3. The graphics have a really nice polish to them, the in game cut scenes look really nice.
Lets hope they don't ruin the game with the story or something. The clone business is already on shakey ground. |

It was awesome the first time around, and if the demo is anything to go by, then the second time will be a blast as well.

I was really impressed with the graphics on the PS3. It should look impressive on PC.
Only thing that bothers me is the linearity of it all. There is zero exploration. No real tasks. Just destroy everything and move on to the next section. This makes it feel "arcade-like" when I would prefer a deeper experience like Jedi Knight II. As you said--Star Wars GoW 3. Maybe there will be more depth in the full version. I also wish things like scout walkers would crash to the ground and remain there instead of just disappearing. I can see why they would need to do this on consoles because of memory constraints but shoudln't be an issue on PC's. |

It was a fun demo, but the combat lacked something like the first. When compared to other action 3rd person games like GoW, DMC, Bayonetta and even the just released Castlevania, combat felt weak and nothing seemed to have any weight behind it. Hopefully it was just the demo. Well at least limbs fly off now unlike the last one.

I think I am going to buy this. Weird enough my ps3's fans came on while playing the demo
![]() I found a couple of minor bugs mainly at the end. One of the storm troopers seemed to just float out of the craft, not land but simply float off into the distance. I didnt use any force powers on him at that time. The other was related to input but I didn't care game seems in the vein of the first one which I enjoyed ![]() |

Yeah a little buggy, but still just a demo.
Or the game is really buggy and no one will be able to complete the game until a patch comes out for 9.99USD. : : |

I've avoided all starward games since Jedi Knight 2. Not because it was bad, but because I knew all others since then have sucked enough compared to it for me to not even bother. I might have to at least give this demo a try though... even though I'm not a fan of the films, I somewhat like the universe and thoroughly enjoyed a few of the games in the past.
