Is anyone else having the little white texture flickering issue? It's not a huge issue but there's a faint white flickering every now and then on random distant textures.

can't recall exactly what driver I'm using. they were the beta drivers a couple of weeks ago.

See my post in this thread. You need the 260.99's or turn off AA.

The 260.99's are running great here. The games looking great, turned AA back on.

Dunno about this game. I tried the new drivers and went back into the game. Same thing. Runs really bad and seems to have a memory leak, the longer I play the worse it gets. Am using the "Low" Setting (with full Aniso) and even that isn't smooth enough. Game also still crashing. I'm really bummed out as I liked Fallout 3 and was ready to play some more. All my 40 plus installed games play smooth and this one plays like ass. Something is not right in Fallout land.

Yup flicker gone, but I still get some stutters when looking at the sky, turning water to medium fixed this. While it's not as smooth as the older 186 drivers these are a lot more stable as a whole. 260.99 crainger certified.

Crainger certification doesn't count for much though. I'm looking for Nekro certification.

FNV4GB
Quote:
FNV4GB is a tool to load Fallout New Vegas with the Large Address Aware executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used by the game.

This is designed to be used by players with 64 Bit Versions of Windows. Usage on 32 bit Windows is unlikely to work (will run but wont incress the address space).

I make no guarentees whether or not this will work long term for all players. The way it works may get broken if Steam, the game or Windows updates. I've only tested it using the current version of the Steam, the Game and Windows 7 x64 as of the day this was posted.

FNV4GB is licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1. Read the included lgpl-2.1.txt for the terms. Source code is included with the package. Original binaries compiled using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

FNV4GB additionally hooks and replaces the Windows GetTickCount() function that may improve stuttering.
Works perfectly for me, zero stutter! Using this along side the DX9 DLL fix and with motion blur

I tried that 4GB thing and didn't notice much difference and keeping an eye on the RAM usage, didn't change either. Still loaded the same amount.

ATi users might want to check this mod dll out instead of the first initial fix

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloa...e.php?id=34970

Huge improvement over using the previous dll fix (The 7900GS) one. So anyone on ATi or anything else go download the D3D9Gen one, and create your own dll based on your gpu series, make a huge difference.

I'm withdrawing my Certification anyway. It's good driver for Fallout, but it's still not as smooth as the 186.18s. So I went back.
