If we are going by that logic, Call of Duty has had a lot of expansion packs...

Far better game than Fallout 3, and the reason mainly the humour. It's packed with it. Tons of moments that put a grin on your face. I put 30hrs into the 360 version, got new PC and then started all again. It's strange how things are working out a tad differently this time around even though I have actively tried to do so much the same.

Perhaps not wiping out the Legion in Nipton on sight, has helped my cause.

Kudos for the find!

But... is it 100% compatible across all the game? I mean... no observed bugs or anomalous behaviours related to it?

And... is it compatible with Fallout 3 or is it just designed for Fallout: New Vegas?

I haven't had any issues so far but then again, I've only gotten a couple of levels using it.

eventually, it will take a really really long time to get from one level to the other but I was just upset that I havent even entered vegas yet and I've already tapped out the leveling system and there is still a TON of quests I've done. I felt like it would be ripping me off to not get the EXP points from all the work I'm putting into the game.

you know I was thinking, what if this game was online Co-op where up to 4 people play through story mode that would be cool

Hmm I didn't even need that mod. I finished it this weekend and after about 80 hours of playtime I only hit Level 29 at the end. I got a lot of weapons but in the end I used the silenced Varmit Rifle and silenced sniper rifle throughout the game. I finished off almost everything without them seeing me . I am reloading from a previous save to finish Raul's quest, but I think I can't get it anymore after I read the wiki page.

Hmm, I hit 20 in the original game, then hit 30 with the DLC's.

With NV, I didn't even hit the cap, I think I was around 25 or so.

Of course, there could have been a few things I missed.

I enjoyed this one, except the bugs.

Default Re: Official Fallout: New Vegas Feedback Thread

well I encountered my first LOL bug last night.

I was ending the birds of a feather quest for the van graffs and...

****SPOILERS****

When I took Cass in to talk to Jeanne Pierre Baptiste or whatever his name is, it put me in a situation where I either let him kill her or fight everyone in the silver rush.

After reading the wiki to see if there was any way around this, I decided to detonate some C4 to see if I can take out or wound as many guards as possible.

I had about 15 of those things in my inventory so I pretty much laid a couple at the feet of every person in the room, sneak picked the lock to go upstairs, told Cass to wait there, went back down and talked to Baptiste, sprinted back upstairs and detonated the C4.

My guy did this weird gangster lean that I've never seen him do before (didn't take any damage) and when I went downstairs to survey the damage and see who lived, the ENTIRE ROOM WAS EMPTY!!!

Then something caught my eye... Everyone except Gloria van graff were STUCK in the ceiling! About half of their bodies were sticking down through the ceiling. When I ran upstairs, sure enough, the upper half of them were coming up through the floor.

The bad news though is that every item in the room was gone... no weapons.. no ammo.. nothing....

I was kinda pissed but at this point, I've got more caps than I know what to do with so anything on the tables would have just gotten sold at the gun runners but still.. WTF... C4 vaporized everything

My first playthrough and i'm at 57 Hrs with only level 14[i'm taking my time exploring]

but i've already had 2 companions die cause i'm playing on Hardcore mode.

so i've lost Boone&Veronica.

So Far i'm loving the Game..it has a much better feel then Fallout 3 did[Ofcourse i like the Colors/Western Cowboy setting better].

It's funny cause after seeing certain Characters ingame i could swear they were another Species in Oblivion[Like the Bar Tender in the Atomic Wrangler looks like a khajiit From Oblivion]
