Is that a dual proc installation at 32 threads!?! That's CRAZY man, I hope they have one of those 20mg cache procs available at a decent price, not 1500 bucks.

Nothing fancy.

Sandy Bridge is not multi-processor capable. You have to wait for Sandy Bridge E Xeons DP/MP models for that.

The text above the screenshot that v3rninater is talking about (above) says "teaser SS" which I am guessing means "teaser screen shot". If that is the case, then the picture could very well be a dual or quad processor server board.

If you think that's mind blowing, check out the SS of Cinebench 11.5 doing 32-thread rendering.

No wonder Intel is locking down overclocking except on the more expensive 'K' processors.

Honestly, I don't see a need to OC any more. This 920, stock, is far more CPU power than I need. I think when gaming it might get to 50%, but anything else it stays below 20% CPU usage.

Looking forward to this winter's retail edge Big Deal though. Whatever mobo+CPU combo they offer I'm planning to pick up. Should make a nice server.

When is SB due out? Would be awesome if I could snag one- even if only low end.

That is true for the most part. But games like Bad Company 2 need as much processor power as it can get its hands on. Overclocking makes a difference in this case.

I don't own the game, though I've heard most everybody whom plays it claim the same thing.

So maybe I should state that for now my CPU is far more than I presently need.
