I will be going X6 soon anyways. It seems to be more than enough for games, and that's all I am concerned with.

Well... in areas like video encoding and such it likely will. In basic day to day stuff like gaming, watching movies, music, etc- likely not gonna' see a difference at all.

Then I'll wait until next year then...and upgrade GPU's until then.
