Default Dell Precision M4600 with Quadro 2000M: can't find Intel graphics device

According to http://www.nvidia.co.uk/page/quadrofx_go.html (under tab 'MID_RANGE') the Quadro 2000M supports Optimus technology. My understanding is that this uses a separate low-power Intel graphics device. However, I can't find it:
Code:
lspci | grep "VGA"
reports only
Quote:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Device 0dda (rev a1)
I have had several thorough searches of all BIOS options and there is nothing to enable/disable integrated Intel graphics. So I have a few related questions:
  1. Does Optimus actually require a separate Intel graphics device?
  2. Do I (or should I) have a separate Intel graphics device?
  3. If so, how do I enable it? What ACPI calls would turn it on? (My DSDT/SSDT tables are here.)

Thanks

Default Re: Dell Precision M4600 with Quadro 2000M: can't find Intel graphics device

After more investigation, I am told that Optimus is permanently disabled with an RGB IPS panel. Apparently the Intel graphics device could only offer 8 bit color depth rather than 10. (Annoying because I would happily trade colour depth for battery life for tasks where colour isn't important.)

Sorry to bother you folk...
