error installing nvidia driver geforce 210 in slackware 13.1 -current

hi.

i have a problem when installing NVIDIA-Linux-x86-256.53.run in my slackware 13.1 -current (updated till 28 oct 2010)

the error logs :

Code:

Could not compile 'gcc-version-check.c'. Please be sure you have your Linu x distribution's gcc and libc development packages installed.

how do i install latest driver in my slacware 13.1 -current?

Hi ,
I got the same problem.
Search for the "added" (not the "upgraded" or "rebuilt") packages here :
64 bits
ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/s.../ChangeLog.txt
or here :
32bits
ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/s.../ChangeLog.txt
and check if there's none missing in your system.
