Default Misc-konsole font does not render correctly on SuSE-11.3

I'm running SuSE-11.3 (32-bit) with an NVIDIA G70 [GeForce 7800 GT] (rev a1) card and driver revision 260.19.12. I use the kde konsole program quite a bit. I have SuSE-11.0, 11.2, and 11.3 machines and the problem only occurs with 11.3 for some reason.

Changing my xorg.conf file from "nvidia" to "nv" on SuSE-11.3 allows the Misc-console font to render properly. And on SuSE-11.0 and 11.2 the font always renders correctly. I was referred to this forum by the SuSE mailing list. Even though the Misc-console font renders correctly in SuSE-11.0 and 11.2, most consider this problem NVIDA related because it renders correctly when the nvidia driver is NOT used.

Any help would be appreciated.
