Default Possible bad ram?

I've just got a new GTX 480 and I have to say I am delighted with it. It seems to work perfectly with every game or benchmark I have tried.

However, one very small but puzzling issue. If I boot in XP, I get a strange artefact - graphics glitch - on the XP boot screen. It's in the same place every time.

Might this actually be a sign of bad memory somewhere? As I said, if there is a problem, it's not manifested itself anywhere else so far, so it's not really a problem. I just don't want to find the card starts dying on me later on.

What do you reckon?
