Glad I didn't purchase this yet. By the time I do, hopefully a lot of the bugs will be worked out.

Maybe they just weren't ready to launch till today though. Servers might not have been 100% last night. I wouldn't judge a game by the day 1 results... as we all know day 1 is usually a failure for most games. DICE, EA, IW, etc. Most games I buy on launch day have some issues that get fixed pretty quickly.

The game looks fantastic. Suppose im one of the lucky ones with pretty much no issues.
You are one of the lucky ones.. 99.999% of all other people on multiplayer have massive frame stuttering/all cores getting maxed out for no reason.

Atleast there was a reason for no PC Gameplay Video -.-

No, it doesn't matter if you have ATi,Nvidia,AMD or Intel, Dual or Quad. The game has some major issue that is driving your cpu into overdrive for no reason. Probably has a memory leak.

Single player runs absolutely awesome on here. Great.

My only issue is weird shadow texture flapping, is that the game engine itself?

I read that on the Steam forums. How the **** do you miss something like that during QA?

I swear, do any studios actually play their games before launch anymore?

I can't play it the sudden fps drops are so bad. But according to task manager running on my 2nd monitor my cpu load was around 31% - 58%. With my gpu load moving between 42% - 68%. So I was horrified to see fps as low as 14. Although I'm assuming if the game is only optimised to use max 2 cores then 58% is 2 cores maxed and the other cores idle and not able to help!

It runs really smooth for me with the only lag coming from the steam connect...I'm sure that the minor bugs will be sorted for everyone else though, just wish Treyarch had gone for public hosted dedicated servers and left steam out of the equation.

Heres some of the console tweaks i used in mp to gain a few extra fps and make things a little clearer...

r_distortion 0
cg_brass 0
cg_drawfps 1
cl_maxpackets 100
com_maxfps 125
snaps 30
r_dof_enable 0
r_fastskin 1
r_glow_allowed 0
r_specular 0

Theres quite a few more cvars that could be changed but im not sure if they are VAC protected or not, will wait till someone else tries them first.....

Someone suggested to set the priority to low then back to high, this kinda fixed it for me, avg around 60 fps~ sudden drops, but overall it was smooth enuf for me to get 23kd/ratio....called in everything lol.

Yup, game is broken. Do developers not know what quality control is? This is getting absolutely ridiculous. First match I played and everything was fine. Finished it up and then my computer basically crapped out on me. Reset, went in again. Halfway through the first match computer died. GOOD JOB! EXCELLENT QUALITY ASSURANCE GUYS.
