Thanks rage, I thought I remembered reading something about that a while back. Time to start shopping for a monitor.

Some may chide you for a choice like that, but I certainly won't. I personally really dig using a modern LCD TV with a PC, even as a primary display. Heck I think TriviumNate has a 32" at his desk. I put my 26" 720p on my desk for a couple weeks and sure enjoyed it.

I'm pretty sure that a 120hz tv is not the same as a 120hz monitor. So if you're buying it for that reason it won't work. The TV will not be able to display anything higher than 60hz. I can vouch however that a 32" 60hz 1080p tv makes a great monitor

Thank you for the input guys.

I'll start another thread when I decide on some choices, I don't want to derail this thread any further. Thanks

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this challenge.

This was just a first attempt at doing something like this; I wanted to see how much work I'd need to put into a multi-community challenge. ... quite a bit.

I'll create another challenge at a later point, with more clearly defined and simple rules and requirements.

Until next time...
