Talking Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

Hello everyone!

I got this game last night and am loving it.

Has anyone had any luck setting up anti aliasing with the Nvidia Drivers, the game desperately needs it? I tried using 4x override but am getting flickering textures.

Best,
Elliot

Edit: added pics enjoy

I bought it off EA's download service last night. Only played for a couple hours, pretty fun so far .

It's good. Forcing AA with Crossfire creates a double screwed up image on the screen and being another console port, no AA options in the menu. Still looks pretty decent. Runs DX9.

Seems to be capped at 60fps, so VSync isn't really in the equation.

MLAA cleans up the jaggies but creates input lag and screen lag that don't go too well with a racer.

I can run this max at 1920 x 1080 without Crossfire enabled, and never drops below the 60fps.

You want pictures? I'll give you pictures.

Every time I try and load the first race.

What a piece of ****. I NEVER have this kind of a problem with a game. despite manually setting affinities and using compatibility modes like one site suggested, the game refuses to work after loading a track.

And then there's the unpassable logo screens and holy mother of god.. is that a NFS WORLD ad that they hold you at every single time you load up? I pray that gets hacked out soon.

just that it is an APPCRASH with NFS11.exe I tried to screen shot it but the last couple of times I did it, the black background stayed so I couldn't bring my screen capture program forward. From what I hear.. it has to do with graphic settings. Seems if you alter the quality settings from default, you have a high chance of crashing out. Some people actually crash out unless they play the game at high quality settings that play like crap on their computer.

I think im gonna let this one sit until there is a patch.
