I would like to agree. Have you tried Sharp Tires mod? It evolved into Overhaul Mod now. It is better than Real Mod

@Slawter yes it is still not a sim but it feels much better than GT5 and FM3 It gives soo much pleasure from driving.

Didn't know what trackir was until now. Sucks cause I really liked the natural head movement in the video there.. but alas it would be nothing natural in real life. TrackIR is pretty dumb with stationary displays. Also I think they can do much better if they went with a Gyro.

Things I like:
- playing cops and knocking out cars
- road blocks + spike strips
- game feels pretty good
- nice graphics
- nice scenery's
- nos works well

Things I don't like
- flashy thumping menus - overly flashing gets annoying
- game kept crashing - had to turn off CPU's, wtf?
- if I leave 4 cpu's on game constantly crashes
- can't tell if sli is on
- controls feel too sensitive, i don't have racing wheel, each key press turns vehicle too much
- camera is overly shakey - start, stop, start and you'll see
- stutters at times (not too bad), but fps>40
- AA?

posted pics in screenshot thread too...

i wasn't able to play the game unless i disabled 2 cores on my cpu, but it seems the fun was short lived, after playing for 15 mins or so the game froze up any word on a patch ...

hrmm no problems here with 4 cores, in fact today I re-enabled HT so it was 4 cores / 8 threads, smooth as butter with 263.00.

A patch is on the way..eventually. Apparently after looking at the bugs, they were amazed the game runs at all.

Best NFS to date IMHO. You actually start to get into it pretty quickly.
