Game seems alright, so glad the controls don't suck like they did on the ps3 demo...

Needs more traffic though :P

First impressions aren't that great, the reason why?

All the cars handle terribly, this is not arcade, this isn't sim, the cars handle like nothing, and they handle mostly the same-ish, it's absolutely dreadful, this has got worse handling then any Need for Speed, bar Carbon. It is that bad. The gameplay is quite fun, even though it's a bit ridiculous that if your opponents wipe out they are on your tail again in literally about two seconds.

Oh and I love how they put in the loading screen tips how it's faster not to drift through the corners, if you can keep the line. But you can't possibly take a corner out in out because of the bad physics, and the other cars overtake you in full drift at 250kph, lol, yea drifting is so much slower through the corners. What.the.hell.

Graphics are okay-ish, the cars and road is nice, water looks very nice too, but the surroundings (behind the fence) is quite low quality textures, which ruins it a bit. This game could massively do with AA.

Also, this game is so badly consolised it's shameful, the graphics options are so limited, it makes me want to cry. I would have gone for a refund via Steam, but apparantly you can only have one refund per steam account?

Anyway, this could be one of the best NFS games ever, yet they royally screwed it up. Did nobody do QA or playtesting on this game?

I agree with most of what you say,the rubberband gameplay is horrible aswell.I regret buying this game tbh.

I would have regretted buying it at full store price, but the steam discount was pretty good. I still semi enjoy the game, I don't have anything else to play at the moment.

I think I'm dissapointed because I went in with very high hopes. Having played every NFS since the first one you do wish and want for a good NFS game, even though some of them have been pretty bad.

I still think Porsche Unleashed was the best, because they actually made something out of the driving physics. Every car was different, and tweaking and tuning it actually did a lot of good. It was an awesome game. Even though it can't stand up to modern sim games, back then it was pretty big.

I totally agree about the way the cars handle. It is terrible, even with my G25 I can't go around the corners like the cars ingame. I'm just about to stop even trying to complete this at all. I enjoy the cop chases, but the time trials are just so tedious. To get gold on some of the courses is Ni on impossible.

Yeah but it's all about finding the shortcuts and using the boast up hill as well. I agree though, I was absolutely bombing down the roads and still couldn't get gold.

I had to post this. I'm pretty sure this isn't HP but NFS world. You have to be a paying customer in order to be able to use a wheel or change controls. This guy figured out an inventive way around that.
