3D Stereo with QuadroFX and usb connection

Hi,

Does anyone know if there will be version of Linux drivers supporting the USB connection with emitter. As we are planning to upgrade our scientific workstations and are looking to get 3D Stereo on them.

I know it's possible with the more expensive more than 1000 Euro QuadroFX cards with emitter connected directly to the card, but it's too expensive for us with 10 workstations to upgrade. Also this is not option with laptops which we would also like to use with 880M cards and external monitor.
