Lets just say this build was 3 weeks old... with all the problems and bugs that have been found and pointed out... do you really think they would come out and tell us that? Wouldn't it be easier to say this is a really old build? Its easy to state "...don't worry we're good for retail" before they have your hard earned money.

With all the duds I've bought this year I don't trust any game developers right now. Until it's in my hands and I see it... I'll doubt it.

You'll porbably say I told you so anyway because the retail will have bugs like all games. DICE fixed up BFBC2 quiet nicely, way better than the complete junk Crytek gave us or the CoD devs.

Valve still patch their games up and they're many years old, so meh. This game will have massive maps with lots of complex effects, so it's bound to have bugs.

Not sure I trust them to release this in a fit state.

The beta is way too damaged for comfort, it's not much different to the Alpha.

They won't have time to optimise it further and the performance you get in return for how it looks just doesn't justify it.

Going to pass on this one, if EA weren't in such a hurry to get it out the door before MW3 this could have been something far better.

you can tick the option box in the graphics settings to have the game launch in full screen.

Same here. I cancelled my pre-order. I want to see how the final result sits with the community and reviewers and whether or not there will be any major fixes in the first few weeks before I shell out my $$.

I preordered witcher 2 and got it the day it came out but didn't actually start playing it until YESTERDAY and as a result of that, I'm getting to enjoy the game with the new 2.0 patch with a slew of enhancements and bug fixes.

I'm so backed up on my games to play list, by the time I'm getting to a new game, it's been out for months and the console games that I will get around to have already been played and are on the used game rack at EB games.

Well why did you pre-order it then? Beta is beta and you cannot make bold assumptions about the final game on one map with a buggy test version.

That would be hysterical. Some first time player accidently shooting from a tree. Thinks the tanks ate invincible.

I guess I was expecting it to be like old school battlefield. Metro wasn't the greatest map to showcase the game IMO though. no vehicles was lame. It felt like any other old run and gun multiplayer shooter.
