In the real world theres a sheet of glass in front of your face all the time, haven't you ever noticed? Its realistic.

Sometimes devs forget that real life isn't viewed through a camera. They are always trying to mimic movie effects that are cause by cameras.

I absolutely love this game, the multi-player is just fantastic, it is really the most fun I have had in a lonnnnnnnnnng time with any game.

Haven't had much time to play SP yet but hasn't drawn me in so far. The game runs extremely well, I can even push Ultra on my 560TI if i wanted to and is very playable. Loving FXAA, very smooth edges with little performance impact.

With that said, there are still quite a few bugs which unfortunately is expected from games these days on launch day but I'll deal (rage, dead island magika etc). The game won't run properly with hyperthreading or HPET enabled, doing so exhibits massive stutters and glitching that sometimes look like artifacting.

Turn HT and HPET off, smooth as butter! Anyways looking forward to what dice has in store for the future, hope they support it well.

If there is no fix then the game is going to have to wait till the Nvidia 6 series GPU's are released as i have waited this long and so im not running out buying a GTX580 now just for 1 game.
turn Hyperthreading and HPET off in your BIOS, this will fix it, use latest drivers too.

Even though this is just a workaround for now, you won't see any difference in framerate, you might even get a slight boost actually, but of course you wont have anymore stuttering!

With a monitor that size, a wall mount is ideal. You really are too close to it as it sits right now.

Finished the single player. I really liked it with the exception of the hand to hand combat. I got through all the fights but haven't a clue how I did it. I never got a feel for what I was supposed to be doing with the Space, E key, and Left mouse button and didn't feel I had control over the outcome. Seemed like I got through the fights (were harder through the game) by luck rather than skill. Dunno if I was supposed to be hitting designated keys once, tapping wildly, and how long I was supposed to continue hitting them. Seems kind of scripted rather than the player actually having control over the moves. I'd like to see videos of someone doing it right so I could see what I was doing wrong.

I feel the same, I just picked it up and playing through SP and it took me like 5 tries to get through this one hand to hand fight.

Game runs ok for my rig, I was not expecting much, running around 30-50 FPS on all medium, but I have not updated my drivers still on 270, i keep reading about all these issues with drivers so figured wait a bit till something stable comes out
