I don't mind TDM or Squad DM from time to time, smaller and different pace. Lets you see certain small areas of maps in more detail.

Squad DM brings your win loss ratio way down though

I think they need to make it easier to penetrate some rush maps, the ones where you start on a Aircraft carrier are damn hard for attackers, 32 players just sit on the shore, spam stingers, rockets and use vehicle guns to shoot choppers and boats. Easy fix would be to bring the aircraft carrier closer or take away some vehicles from the defenders in those first m-com stations.

Good to hear. Might give it a go eventually.

Server side patch today.

Quote:
The R6 update has been released. It is currently an optional update found in your server's MODs area. We will likely roll the update to all servers tomorrow or when it becomes mandatory.

Please feel free to update your servers. The patch includes an end of round crash fix which may increase server stability.

Some of the more important changes include:

- End of round crash fix
- Connection fix to avoid players occasionally being rejected during a join attempt
- Ghost server fix
- Enhanced kick reasons to better match situations for which they are issued

So are the flash lights still the most arcadey thing ever, like in the alpha? Where even if you're in broad daylight, seeing a flashlight from 19 miles away blinds you as if you were looking at God?

You have to be fairly close up, but yeah it is bright. You are history if you get caught in those headlights.

Yeah, I understand the mechanic, but they implemented it so fake. Flashlights that blind you in the broad daylight, sniper scopes that reflect a shiny spot at night, lazers that blind you like they are cone when they are a narrow beam, ect, ect, ect. For being a realism simulator they have a lot of fake stuff going on.
