Persistant Battlelog updates!

As the days go by, we have a more and more complete server browser and filter function. DICE has now pushed out more updates to Battlelog in the last week and a half than they did for BC2's server browser in 6 freakin months!!! This is amazing!

I actually predicted before the game came out that the reason they were going with a internet browser-based server search was because it was easier to update the server browser programming (everything is server side as opposed to client side like previous games)

DICE nailed it. Battlelog is a game changer for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if other studios start doing the exact same thing for multiplayer games.

At first I wasn't sure what to make of it. Now i'm used to it, I actually really like Battlelog. Everything is at your fingertips.

Great little tip for Nvidia users, in console type:

renderdevice.forcerenderaheadlimit 1

Smooths out lots , u can force the same option in nvidia control panel but it won't stick, do it thru console ingame & 200 series (& any DX10 card apparently) users cards see a massive improvement. tested & working really well, changed the game for me.

Will be patched surely but for now a hotfix.

whats it set to default? in bc2 it was like 3 and 0 or 1 worked well to reduce input lag. Theres not really any input lag in bf3 so what does this do specifically?

yup and we dont have to dl a 500mb patch to get them. I wonder if this was part of the strategy as bc2 was so hard to make a patch for.

Will test with my 9800 GTX+. Even on low right now, it's very laggy compared to the 5870. That shouldn't be the case.

EDIT: Tested. Minor improvement, but hardly earth shattering. The 5870 is far and away smoother, even at ultra settings vs. 9800 GTX+ @ low settings.
