stupid question but how you get a conquest flag in a jet?

I was practicing tonight for about 2 hours learning how to fly, figured out how to do with keyboard alone, no need for mouse, but biggest problem is figuring out how to get points...for the life of me cannot shoot anything, I move way too fast...i am lucky I get one shot in, I need to unlock the jet

You can't get a flag. He was flying to a flag and bailing out. Just practice chasing other jets and once you unlock rockets and other weapons you can do some damage to tanks. If you press s to slow down it helps turn faster to chase people or get them off your tail. Shift is afterburner to run away from guys on the ground with aa etc

Yeah i think that is the toughest thing right now...I got ZERO points in jets even though I got about an hour of flight time...for whatever reason I suck at shooting down planes or anything with those Guns...while I can fly...to actually follow the planes in those crosshairs and in enough time to shoot them...is very tough..meanwhile most other planes out there have rockets and they take me down same with helis.

I need to find I guess a very low population map where I can take out something to get points..LOL

Just purchased this game and liking it so far. Maps are fun, graphics are great, and despite the occasional hacker--they're not too bad.

ever since this new patch, i keep hanging in between maps change after every match.

It just says loading level in the lower right, never does anything, only way to fix it is to exit BF3 and restart it.

So annoying, looking at the forums it looks like so many people having so many technical issues, i thought it just me

Welcome to the forums 737MAX

New patch seems good to me, game feels smoother and chat window and IRNV nerf are great.

Takes a few more seconds to quit the game but generally a non issue.

Yeah I can join now no problems, no more crashes when first going in, it only after the match is done and loads next map.

I am starting to think it certain maps that does it.

I wonder if something got corrupted like a map? I am tempted to wipe out and reinstall everything from scratch
