I just bought this game after I got a new PC while waiting for ivy bridge to hit Egypt.
Intel G620
Asus Z77 Pro
Sapphire 7950
2x4GB Samsung 30nm DDR3 1600
Samsung 830 120GB
Win7 64bit

I get so much rubber banding and slowing down while in multiplayer! Is it because of my weak temporary CPU? There was also a lot of crashing but I executed the pb exe in the main bf3 folder and it fixed most of crashes but it still won't start the game at time. Is this a universal problem?

Yes it is probably because of the CPU. This game really needs quad core, and the faster clocks the better. Enjoy your new computer!

I stopped playing over this and recently started playing again only to find that nothing has changed.

it's on now? had no idea. i am playing hours every day, so it doesn't matter i guess as much for me. i am slowly getting better at flying chopper, so if anyone wants to gun for me, and doesn't mind dying every so often, we should do it sometime.

Too bad it is giving you so much trouble. I haven not had any issues with it, except sometimes I cannot connect when they are updating.
Obviously your origin account should be tied with your "EA" account, so all your EA games should be transferred to it. Bad Company 2, which was my first EA game, randomly appeared on my Origin account one day.

How do I enable isometric view so I can play this like Diablo 3?

For the first time ever for any game, I had to call the customer support. They pointed me to a server where I was able to download an older version of Origin. It worked again afterwards, luckily.

I still don't get why EA is forcing this piece of **** software on us! It's clearly not ready for prime-time and a buggy mess. Please give us back your games on Steam and shut down your failed attempt at a Steam copy, EA!
Holy crap. That's terrible. I once had no games, but I uninstalled Origin and reinstalled and they were back.

I had to call their support for missing ME3 pre order SP items. The first time I was told they are multiplayer unlocks, I was hung up on and had the ticket listed as a ghost call. Second time they just unlocked the items.
