What do you think is the best Nvidia card out there for the money. I think it's the GTX 460 1GB which can be had for about $200 shipped. The 768 GB model goes for around $169 but is not as future-proof. Then there's the GTX 470 which has dropped to less than $250. Is it that much better than the GTX 460?

IMO it depends on your monitor.
If you have a larger monitor with a 1920x1080 or greater resolution I personally wouldn't go with anything less than the 470.
