Fedora Rawhide just dropped a new Xorg release that called itself xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.9.99.1-1.20101201, which kicked up the various ABI levels a notch and ended up incompatible with the 260.19.26 driver (even feeding it a -ignoreABI produced no joy).
Does anybody from NVidia have a *rough* idea when they'll drop a release/beta that supports the upcoming Xorg 1.10? Yes, I *know* it's a moving target, and I can easily tell 'yum' to ignore xorg-x11-* updates and stay on 260.19.26 - I'm just wondering if it's "a few weeks out" or "don't bother checking before March". (for the record, 260.19.26 is running fine on a 2.6.37-rc4-mmotm1202 kernel, G98M [Quadro NVS 160M]). |
