What resolution are you running? What games do you play?

Go with the GTS 250. It's faster than the 430.

cheers , also found these recently
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/3805...-gb-gddr5.html and http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/4122...-gb-gddr5.html

but tehe 5770 is ddr5 and pcie x16 2.1 ,

i think my pciexpress slot is ddr3 , will it still fit , or does this only apply to the RAM.

One more thing , is there a difference between 2.0 and 2.1 , as i have never heard of this

thanks
lloyd

If you have PCI-e slots, the 5770 will work fine. And it'll stomp that GTS250.

Yeah, you'll be very happy.

I game at 1920 x 1200 and can have all in-game options maxed on every game I own. Some, like Crysis, I can't use any AA. But most titles I can run maxed with some AA.

Should work great at your resolution with AA in every game.
