i have an i3 laptop. When I connect it through hdmi to my pioneer avr, it detects and shows up in audio properties but no signal goes to the receiver or to the tv. Anything I have to do to get it working? With the same cable and connection, I can pass video and audio through the gtx 470 on my gaming pc. I even use it to watch bluray 3d using powerdvd 10

don't you need to setup your multi-monitor configuration on your laptop first for it to send signal through the HDMI?
