GTX460 HD Audio Device x 4?

Just installed my new GTX 460 and it adds four high definition audio devices to my device manager. 4? Why?

I have two of them in SLI.. and it installed EIGHT.

I've never noticed any kind of adverse audio performance because of this, they've always just sat there quietly and behaved.
