That's pretty nice. I got my 3D Vision Kit at release at $200, and my Acers were $370 each, so that is a pretty nice deal. A single 580 is plenty to drive 3D gaming at 1080p while maintaining the highest in-game settings for most games. You also don't notice aliasing as much when playing in 3D, so you don't have to turn up AA as high. Go for it!

That's a nice setup

I am personally going to look at perhaps another generation before I switch up my hardware and go 3D. I am trying to decide if surround will be better or 3D.

I didn't pay out of pocket for my video card so I am pretty satisfied about that

Disagree. TN is fine for gaming and normal websurfing/Office.

This covers most people.

Muya,
I put my 3007WFP-HC on my son's computer and bought two more 2233RZs for mine earlier this year. I've played on those Acer monitors, very nice!

24" TN with 3d Vision vs 24" IPS wouldn't even be a choice for me. Also, if you do fps shooters, having 120Hz panels is the stuff.

Why hold back? Go for 3D Surround!

2 x GTX 580 + 3 x Acer 24" = like me

Due to my merit bonus not being in line with my expectations (company had a bad yer blah blah..still got a bonus i guess) I will not be getting both, GPU yes....but dunnow hich one at the moment to replace my GTX 295.

I could do 2x6950s (as my mobo can only do crossfire) or 1 580....but i am not leaning to dual gpu solutions due to various issues mentioned previously and even my 295 exhibits problems!

Nice MUYA

Enjoy the new toy when you get it.

I just got my 570 Super-Clocked and I am loving it so far. I never really played games with PHYSX on my system, usually only on others.

Now, things are so different. Once Sandy Bridge is out and the middle bracket processors (below 2011 pin) pop out, I am probably going to pull the trigger there

I would probably need to upgrade my monitor as well for 3-D Not sure I want to spend that cash right now.
