from what I've read, the guys who have hacked into their 360 and PS3 harddrives have looked at teh config files and found that crytek are using mostly all medium graphics settings with a couple of tweaks for eye candy like sun rays I believe.

Honestly I think that crysis 2 looks as good as crysis 1 after a good config tweak, good time of day mods and the level of detail in crysis 2's overall environment is on par with the custom community user made maps. that's what really impresses me the most.

Actually it was below low with parts of low and parts of medium vs C2 config layout. Compared to Crysis it was below low, fair share of medium settings, some high and few very high.

We still need to see the shaders at very high and DX11/very high settings that do exists in config files and game. It's just locked out for now. I am sure textures will look much better in final game to as texture res and mapping res and use of them are exactly same in low, medium and high setting for demo.

High aint even real high. Shaders get locked to medium. Final game is gonna look so good. + mods for eye raping material, 18+.

Yeah shame as that does have a major IQ impact. And it can work with AF like Two World 2s games solution or Xzeros shader POM mod for Crysis and with low perfomance impact.

How the hell did you get Crysis 2 MP demo to look like that? I'm playing @1920x1200 with "Hardcore" setting and it don't look anywhere near as good as those screeners!

i just read that in the sp game hardcore is still the highest setting

Nah brah full game with day-0 patch will have very high and DX11 mode. Beta leak had 'very high' preset, just not working under DX9 except LOD changes to objects and light draw distance. Good times!

Nvidia benchmark team only got DX9 runtime so they sit in same boat as the demo users with their early release version.
