The GPU block is the DangerDen Maze5GPU. I kept the stock cooling plate on the card for the memory and VRMs and the stock fan runs at a silent 25% to brush a little air across the plate. Its actually quiet effective.

Well I'm now recovered from PDXLAN 17 and have installed the Sapphire 6870 that I won in the BF Vietnam Tourney. Here's some pics!
![]() BTW....Sapphire is cool and all, but the Vapor-X thing is absolute joke. Its just regular heat pipes!

Well so far the card runs great! I know 3DM06 isn't fantastic, but I ran a test to see actual numerical changes. 3DMark06 runs were done with the default settings and the HL2 was set at 1920x1200 res with Max everything.
Visiontek HD4870 512mb = 3DMark06 14818 / HL2 Benchmark =187.38FPS Sapphire HD6870 1GB = 3DMark06 17209 / HL2 Benchmark = 247.79FPS
