Default zotac 470 increasing voltage

I decided to overclock my 470 to get some more juice out of it in 3d mark 11. I read some reviews where it said increasing the voltage to 1.087V is perfectly ok for these cards. Is that correct. Increasing it to that, I was able to get to 800/1660/1900 at first try and at 100% fan speed, my idle temp was 35 degrees C. And it did fine in 3d mark 11(P5100 and X1700). I created an oc profile in afterburner just for gaming/benchmarking and probably leave it at stock during other times.
