The D2x is amazing aswell, great sound quality and no issues apart from one game. Had some weird soundloops with f1 2010 that crashed/locked the game and i had to shut it down through the event manager but even then the loop continued. After trying to shut the loop off i had a bluescreen/restart, that game keeps locking up every other day and its always during loading screens/music.

I have no idea what's causing it and i have the latest drivers for the card. It's made for the pcie x 1 port but afaik any pcie port can be used, it's just a tad too long and the ram are in the way for it to fit in the x1 slot.

So you noticed a big difference over the Creative card you were using. Not just in audio problems fixed, but in sound quality.

Yes, most definatly. In games, using voicecom, music and movies. It's crisper, richer and more defined.
