This is an awesome game, just got to Chapter 7. Even though it kind of feels the same as the first one, there are so many subtle improvements that you just barely notice that add up to make it really immersive and fun. I am especially impressed by how polished the PC version is after the way the controls felt on the original. Did have to disable vsync in game and force it through driver but that's really no big deal.

Still waiting for Steam to unlock it. Got a cracking headache though after 40 hours of Civ 5 in 3 days, so it's probably good to wait a day.

Can see MLAA having good use here, finally a real use for it.

Here are a few full sized shots:

Game supports surround gaming very good right out of the box. Even the cutscenes and videos would be ready for triple screen gaming but not at my res. They use some kind of layer in those sequences but my resolution is wider than their layer so I can see what's underneath

I haven't tried this with 3d yet, but I imagine my frame rate would about mirror yours, but it's good to hear everything else working right for you.

Nothing left to do now but enjoy the game. I'm in chapter 13 after about 12 hours...I'm crawling through this exploring every last nook and cranny. Fantastic game.

Just beat the game - new goodies unlocked.

Worth it? Oh heck yes.

Anyone else getting the "cannot initialize display adapter" error message at all? Restarting the game usually fixes it, rather irritating....

Enabling AA using NVIDIA Inspector, driver 266.58, and that compatibility bit makes the ragdoll physics freak out for some reason. Sometimes when I touch or kick a dead body, it goes into a seizure and then starts stretching out all over the room its in. I'm also running in Surround and have Vsync disable, so maybe that is part of the problem, but I only started noticing it when I enabled AA. When I disabled it and played again, voila, the ragdoll seizures were gone.
