Default 2600K + Sabertooth P67 + Corsair H70 (big pics warning)

I received everything in the title today via UPS, and it all started up and is running great! Figured I'd start this thread to track my overclocking on this particular combo. It's only my second day owning it though, so this won't be all at once but over several posts.

Here goes:

The screenshot was taken before I figured out Q-Fan was enabled on all fan headers and it was forcing the H70 to run at lower performance, hence the 78C temps. Fixed it and temps took a dive into the 60's under load. So I'm mighty pleased where I'm at so far but will push more clocks on as I get more used to this setup.

II totally thought the "Tactical Vest" was a gimmick, and no major site review really bothered to test it to see if it's making any difference or not. One site bothered to take the thing off to test to see if it was cooler with or without:

http://www.vortez.co.uk/articles_pag..._review,6.html

Results speak for themselves, Asus didn't just gimmick this one, it's for real. It indeed makes an average 3-5 degree difference across the board in favor of the vest actually helping cool the board down. I was happy about the fact that it gives me an extra protection level from slipped screw drivers, but the cooling factor did surprise me.

Supposedly, but never owned an H50. With a bigger radiator it should cool better though. Also comes with push/pull supported out of the box with matched fans. By default, it's meant to be better. But the swivels certainly made mounting it a breeze. I was able to mount the word "Corsair" straight and rightside up as opposed to many H50 installs where the word "Corsair" is sitting all funky. In a windowed case, that makes a difference.

Significant temp drops by saying "screw Corsair's recommended air flow direction" and making the fans blow out of the case instead of into the case. Shaved 12C off full load temps doing so.

Thanks to the temp drop, pushed clocks a little more.

How is the volume on that H70? Is it loud?

I keep hearing mixed feelings from people regarding the solution.

It's not that loud at all, honestly. I can hear it somewhat if the case door is open, but if it's closed, cannot hear a thing out of it.

1155 has the same mounting as 1156.
