Default Screen off/on on GTX460 through DP, when VDPAU is used

  1. GTX460 (Zotac)
  2. ubuntu 10.10, 64bit
    Code:
    $ uname -a
    Linux astar-desktop 2.6.35-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 21 17:40:44 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  3. 270.18
If I use DisplayPort for output, It always flick (turned off and turned on back) on start/stop playing. It happens with mplayer, and youtube video (chrome). Also it happens, when I load banshee media player.
HDMI and DVI don't have this issue.
I've attached log from mplayer. It happens with any video I play.
Attached Files
File Type: gz nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (65.8 KB, 52 views)

Do you see the same issue if you run glxgears, or view a web page such as www.engadget.com in firefox, and scroll it up and down rapidly? If so, I would expect at least some of the tests to also show the flicker on DVI/HDMI.

I can't reproduce this "flickering" with glxgears or firefox (4.0b11pre).
I can run other tests.
