Supposed to be buggy as hell but they've been patching it like mad. Looks like fun with friends

Awesome game. It was pretty buggy when it was released, but even with them I still enjoyed the game. A good amount of the bugs are now gone and it is very playable and definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Get the demo it's there on steam.

My GF loves it but hates it at the same time. It frustrates her... I think it's ok but think the controls are more cumbersome then they need to be.

My friend was just playing this a couple of days ago. Said it was fun. I have the demo downloaded but haven't tried it yet.

The full version is only $10 on steam it looks like it can have up to 4 player co-op.

I don't know about it running on a netbook, there are issues with integrated chipset video cards. Best bet is to try the demo on the netbook and if it works the full game will also.

I personally love the controls they make perfect sense. 8 buttons, 8 types of magic, left mouse moves you, shift + left mouse uses sword or casts current selected spell or combo on the sword, right mouse casts the magic, Shift + right mouse casts magic as a Area of Effect that surrounds you or offensively outward with you at the center, middle mouse casts the current spell on yourself, and space bar will cast the special combo after you find out how to do it with a spell book. The best part of the game is how you can combine spells in various ways to strengthen their power or defensive capabilities based on experimentation. You can also find various types of staffs and swords to help you along. Overall I think it was priced lower than it's really worth given how well thought out the magic system is.

Got this a couple days ago, it's really very fun and kind of addicting. You can come up with so many different spell combinations. It's a deceptively simple action RPG with a story that just spoofs a ton of fantasy and sci-fi cliches, and can get a bit challenging later on. Haven't tried the coop yet. Try the ASF exploding laser beam on big groups of goblins, very entertaining.
